In 2016 The Airdrie Football Society started Airdrie's first Flag Football League. The League runs from the end of April to the End of June every Spring. Registration opens in February and closes March 31st. The League is Split into 4 Divisions .
The Airdrie Raiders Spring Football Team plays in the Calgary Spring Football Association (CSFA) Players compete in 12 man football using Canadian Football League rules. This is a Competitive Team that develops players to be better for their High School Football teams. Players from Bert Church, George Mac, W.H. Croxford, Drumheller and all surrounding communities combine together to make an All-Star team.
